Marill Limited Research Rewards
Below are from the steps you need to take to fully complete the Marill Limited Research quest that appears on the Today Research menu on May 9th at 8 a.m. You'll then have 14 hours to complete, because it will appear reduced in the menu at 10 p.m. local time. You will find 20 levels, but really only 10 that are repeated. We list them below in the order given. So finish the very first 10 tasks, scroll back and repeat if required. The big reward is of course a shiny marill with increased shiny odds during the three-hour event.
Note: All individual stage tasks reward Marill encounters. All encounters could be brilliant.
Level 1 (and 11) of 20
- Transfer 2 Pokémon
- Catch 2 Pokémon
- Make 2 nice throws
Rewards: 10 Poké Balls, 500 Stardust and 1,000 XP
Level 2 (and 12) of 20
- Transfer 2 Pokémon
- Catch 2 Pokémon
- Make 2 nice throws
Rewards: 15 Pinap Berries, 500 Stardust and 1,000 XP
Level 3 (and 13) from 20
- Use 3 pinap berries while catching Pokémon
- Catch 2 Pokémon
- Make 2 nice throws
Rewards: Marill Encounter, 500 Stardust and 1,000 XP
Level 4 (and 14) from 20
- Make 2 large throws
- Catch 2 Pokémon
- Transfer 2 Pokémon
Rewards: Marill Encounter, 500 Stardust and 1,000 XP
Level 5 (and 15) from 20
- Do 3 large throws
- Catch 3 Pokémon
- Do 3 curveball throws
Rewards: 15 Nanab Berries, 500 Stardust and 1,000 XP

- Catch 2 Pokémon
- Do 2 curveball throws in a row

- Do 2 nice curveball throws in a row

- Do 2 curveball throws inside a row

Level 10 (and 20) of 20
- Do 2 large throws in a row
- Catch 2 Pokémon
- Develop a fairy-type Pokémon
